Your new role

As the Senior Business Partner - Workplace Relations you will be responsible for providing a client-focused high quality workplace relations consultancy service. You will manage the delivery of highly effective case management services, representation before industrial tribunals and the development and implementation of organisational education programs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Significant experience navigating through large complex organisations, with the ability to confidently interpret and understand relevant industrial instruments and legislation and demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
  • An ability to translate complex subject matter and articulate it in a way that appeals to non-legally minded stakeholders.
  • Your ability to manage clients' expectations through challenging times will be paramount.
  • Solution orientated mindset, with a practical and hands on approach.
  • Act as a credible advisor to provide consistent, timely and reliable advice to a range of internal stakeholders, including assistance/interpretation on the enterprise agreement, HR policies and guidelines and contract.
  • Conduct and support escalated investigations and mediation to resolve complex employment matters



What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, coupled with sound working experience in this discipline.
  • You will have experience in managing disciplinary matters and grievances, performance management, conflict and change management.
  • You will need the ability to remain impartial, possess excellent written skills and build effective relationships, influence and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.
