Workplace relations- Industrial Relations government experience required, CBD, Government Sector

Your new company
An excellent opportunity to work for a public sector Department. Our client requires additional support within their HR team for an ongoing project involving heavy and sensitive case management, specifically dealing in workplace relations.

Your new role
You will facilitate conversations with managers on industrial and employee relations matters; educating managers on processes, policies and legislative requirements. You will work with managers on performance related matters, change and the cultural direction of various areas of the business. There will be a significant requirement for you to work closely with unions and stakeholders across the organisation, as well as represent the department at the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals and forums to negotiate and resolve issues.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have an excellent understanding of workplace relations having worked on an array of different employee relations cases and with unions in a blue and white collar organisation. You will show excellent attention to detail and be a process driven person. It is important that you are empathetic yet resilient and adaptable, someone who shows an excellent work ethic, with a strong background in case management in the government sector.
