An Exciting opportunity has arisen with our Federal Government client for an APS5 People and Culture Officer.

Your new company
Your new role will be within a corporate Commonwealth entity whose main objective is to improve the competitiveness of renewable energy technologies and increase the supply of the renewable energy in Australia.

Your new role
The role is situated within the People and Culture Team, and is responsible for providing operational and strategic human resource services to the agency.

This role is responsible for the following:

  • monitoring and operating the HR ticketing system
  • provide advice and interpretation of HR policies, procedures and processes
  • administer recruitment services and contribute to the on-boarding and processes
  • liaise with external stakeholders and service providers
  • undertake reporting and follow up actions and administration related to metrix, compliance and requests within a broad range of HR elements
  • contribute to a customer centric service and continuous improvement focused culture

What you'll need to succeed
You will demonstrate flexibility and resilience with day-to-day work changes and shifting priorities. You will also maintain focus on quality to achieve outcomes whilst managing competing priorities.

It is essential that you operate as an effective member of the team and work with genuine collaboration with other team members whilst maintaining innovative ideas and approaches. The ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders ensuring all messages are delivered both clearly and succinctly is a must.

Demonstrated experience within a high-volume HR environment administering activities and projects related to a range of worker conditions and entitlements is desirable.

To be eligible for the role applicants must be an Australian citizen, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
