Your new company
The Workforce Capability Branch is looking for innovative and forward-thinking recruitment professionals who will be responsible for coordinating recruitment and secondment activities for the agency. They are looking for an experienced, reliable and responsible individuals who are passionate about providing professional flexible, compliant, accurate and timely delivery of recruitment strategies and services.

Your new role
As the APS5 Recruitment Officer, you will provide advice and support to employees and managers within the agency in relation to the recruitment and selection of staff, including secondment arrangements. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that selection processes are undertaken in accordance with legislative police requirements of the APS and the agency.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing back-end user functions in e-recruit to process the agencies recruitment activities;
  • Assist and develop larger e-recruit initiatives
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the Recruitment Team intranet and internet pages
  • Providing timely and accurate advice on recruitment and selection activities within the framework of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Providing assistance and coordination support to business areas with recruitment and selection activities for general and specialised positions, including secondments.
  • Drafting recruitment and secondment related documentation including letters of offer and inter-agency agreements.
  • Ensuring accuracy of position descriptions in consultation with business areas.

Candidates with previous Federal Government experience will be highly considered for this role. To be considered for this role you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the NV1 level or higher.
