Your new role

As a Case Manager, you will guide managers and employees through sensitive and complex workplace issues. Your duties will include ensuring adherence to policies, practices, and legislation, while managing cases that require a high degree of discretion and empathy. You will handle injury and rehabilitation case management, as well as performance and behaviour-related matters, providing expert advice and ensuring best practices are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage injury cases, including early intervention and return-to-work programs, and oversee performance and behaviour case management.
  • Provide expert advice on sensitive workplace issues, including conflict resolution, underperformance, and complaints.
  • Support managers in navigating challenging workplace dynamics and advocate for early resolution of cases.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Commonwealth legislation and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive an integrated approach to case management.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of guidelines, policies, and processes within the team.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you will need

  • A strong background in case management, particularly in rehabilitation or performance and behaviour matters.
  • Discretion, empathy, and a thorough understanding of relevant policies and legislation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in heightened situations.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to respond to multi-task and manage competing priorities within deadlines.
