Your new role
The role will be used to help implement outcomes from the Department's external recruitment review.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop recruitment planning templates
  • Review and update job description templates (in consultation with stakeholders)
  • Coordinate the streamlining of selection panel guidance (a provider may also be engaged as part of this to create a learning module)
  • Coordinate the streamlining of the engagement process (in consultation with IT, Security, and our HR system team)
  • Coordinate the development of a risk-based policy for security checks (this is primarily a consultation task to convince the Security team of the need to change internal policies)
  • Coordinate the streamlining of security processes
  • Coordinate the streamlining of on-boarding processes

What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate in this role you will possess the following:

  • Understanding of relevant frameworks, legislation, policies and procedures
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to tailor conversations to different audiences
  • Flexibly to adjust to changing work demands and circumstances and is receptive to new concepts

To be eligible for the role applicants must be an Australian citizen, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
