Seeking APS6 HR Advisors for a 6-12 month non-ongoing position

Your new company
People Branch is looking for innovative and forward thinking professionals who can help modernise and transform the way we work to support the delivery of strategic and operational HR functions. We are looking for an experienced, reliable and responsible individual who is passionate about providing administrative support and a high level of client service while working independently in an energetic team environment. Demonstrated experience in similar administrative roles is highly desirable.

Your new role
the APS6 will undertake work that is moderate to complex in nature and operate under limited direction:

  • Assist with preparation and drafting of reports, briefs and updates as required
  • Assist in the coordination of operational, strategic and project work under the direction of the manager
  • Develop and manage effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including through the timely and accurate provision of advice and support
  • Require awareness of changes in the broader work environment that may impact on work objectives
  • Maintain a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks
  • Contribute to the setting of the direction of work priorities and practices, monitoring work flow and identifying training needs for lower classification levels.

  • Have worked in a HRBP position, or understand Workforce planning
  • Ability to pick up new processes, systems and knowledge quickly
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and work as part of a team
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
To be considered for Federal Government vacancies you will need to be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance or higher.
