Your new company
This Government Department is a leader in their field, specialising in providing support across government. They are currently in a growth period, requiring the need for a L&D / Training Officer. You will be working on the implementation of a new ICT platform that will improve support for the entire of this government sector.

Your new role
As the L&D / Training Officer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Work in an integrated project team to drive the new platforms Learning and Support Strategy, manage its implementation and measure its impact.
  2. Provide learning and assessment advice and guidance in support of the design and development of learning and support materials; and in the delivery of successful HRIMS learning and support outcomes.
  3. Oversee the development and validation of 'the new system learning and support training design, course outlines, content, and production of tools and materials.
  4. Co-ordinate engagement with business representatives and subject matter experts in support of the development and validation of courseware, the training delivery plan and schedule.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous industry experience will be valued, as will:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment ideally
  • Knowledge of learning and development leading practice and learning and assessment frameworks.
  • Advanced skills in learning design, support tools and materials development and training delivery in a project context across a diverse organisation.
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a 12 month contract with the option for extension. Please note that this client is considering hourly rate contract and temporary transfers and S26.
