Recruiting an experienced change and project manager with strong communication skills.

Your new company
You will be joining a large government organisation who is looking to enhance their change initiatives within the division.

Your new role
As the Change Manager, you will assist in leading and managing organisational change initiatives to support project management maturity. Working with the project assurance, capability, and quality team, you will support change initiatives related to project performance and financial reporting.

Position Duties:

  • Lead and role model customer focus by working together with other areas to solve customer issues.
  • Lead performance excellence by setting clear direction, performance standards and expectations for individuals and teams.
  • Give and receive regular feedback to enable performance to be improved and ensure individuals obtain the development and support they need to perform to the best of their ability.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop/ implement organisational change management initiatives including communication, stakeholder management, training, business readiness and job and work redesigns.
  • Facilitate workshops, and presentations as required to support the implementation of organisational change management initiatives.
  • Contribute to project benefits realisation management from an organisational change perspective.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in project management and change management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience of driving change activities including change impact analysis, stakeholder engagement and communications, resistance management, training and facilitation and embedding change.
  • Proven high level interpersonal and communication skills to influence, negotiate, present and facilitate workshops.
  • Demonstrate written communication skills to develop effective change plans, briefing notes, business cases, stakeholder and communication plans and work redesign placement plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide customer focused advice to management regarding a broad range of business improvement, work redesign and change management issues.
