Your new organisation

Your new role

Based in the Hobart CBD, and working on a permanent full time basis, you'll be a key member of the Executive Leadership team. As the Chief People Officer, you'll lead all aspects of the People & Culture activities across the organisation and play an integral role in driving a culture of client-centric performance. With a passion for continual improvement, you'll be fundamental in ensuring that the organisation has the right talent and capability to deliver on its strategy. Roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • In consultation with the CEO and Leadership Team, develop and execute the strategic direction.
  • Lead and oversee the development of the People & Culture strategy.
  • Design and lead a program of cultural change within the organisation, to create and foster a culture of client-centric performance.
  • Design and develop a targeted employee experience for all clients, to support the achievement of the organisations desired culture, and performance outcomes.
  • Drive a program of continuous improvement and process optimisation through Human Resources and Organisational Development operations.
  • Oversee People & Culture systems, software and technology to support the senior leadership team's ability to make data driven decisions.
  • Participate in, lead and implement special projects as they arise to support company, individual and business objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be an accomplished People & Culture leader who can join an established Executive focused on driving continuous improvement and ways of working to deliver a meaningful and long-lasting impact across an organisation. You will be a real influencer who can be collaborative, courageous, agile and disciplined about delivering outcomes.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven Executive experience operating in a complex business environment, managing expectations of multiple and diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven strategic leadership and management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership team supporting CEO, Board and Subcommittees.
  • Demonstrated capability in contemporary and innovative people-based practices.


  • Post graduate degree in a relevant field such as business, commerce or human resources.
