Your new role
Reporting to the HR Director of ANZ, you will be the subject matter expert for Compensation & Benefits, HR Shared Service and Payroll for the Australia and New Zealand workforce of 600 employees. You will be part of a wider regional HR matrix structure and work closely with off shored CoEs in APAC and EMEA. This is a newly created and hybrid position, responsible for and work across a number of functions.

  • Deliver local Compensation & Benefits strategies to support all levels of employees and managers including employee performance, retention and engagement
  • Job evaluation and benchmarking
  • Salary reviews both internally and externally across the market
  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Reward & Recognition incentives, their management and implementation of new benefits
  • Other projects and delivery of global projects, locally
  • In addition you will be the Subject matter Expert for payroll queries, reporting and superannuation and partner with the outsource provided to ensure payroll and all awards and other local legislation is correct
  • You will work closely with the HR Shared Services Team in APAC, building relationships and advising and supporting them with regards to ANZ local HR changes, policies and processes


What you'll need to succeed
As this is a very varied and unique opportunity, you will be some open who has a strong HR background in compensation & benefits, remuneration & benefits, and payroll but also have exposure or skills in the HR generalist space or previously in payroll. You will have high attention to detail, have worked in a best practice HR team before, or have been a Remuneration & Benefits, Comp & Bens or Reward & Recognition specialist. You will ideally have or currently work in a global HR matrix structure or have experience of working with overseas stakeholders in complex structures. You must have high calibre stakeholder management skills and be an excellent communicator. In addition you must have knowledge of payroll and exposure to HRIS and other ERP systems.
