The Opportunity

Join MEGT's Employment Services Division and be part of the new Workforce Australia contract commencing from 1st July 2022 (roles commencing earlier). MEGT will be delivering Enhanced Services in the Western Melbourne region and we are looking for Customer Service Officers in the Werribee office.

The Customer Service Officer role is responsible for providing high quality customer experience and first point of contact for job seekers and the general public in the delivery of the Workforce Australia Deed.

The purpose of this role is to be the first point of contact for a MEGT Workforce Australia site for face to face, phone, email, and online enquiries, as well as to support the Site Lead and team members, in the delivery of the Workforce Australia contract and in the administration and general day to day running of the site.

About you

  • Previous experience in the Employment Services sector desirable
  • A demonstrated understanding of working with job seekers and the barriers facing them to employment opportunities.
  • Experience in high-level customer centric/service role, working towards KPIs and targets, in line with the team and organisation's objectives.
  • Having a sense of maturity, professionalism and passion for learning and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a small team, acting with trust and integrity.
  • Demonstrated commitment to self-improvement, ability to take initiative and exceed the needs of MEGT customers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and consultatively with customers at varying levels of responsibility at an organisation.
  • Current drivers' licence.


If successful, you will be required to undergo Police Check and a WWC. All MEGT employees must be fully vaccinated with an approved COVID-19 Vaccine and provide evidence of vaccination.
