The Role:

Exciting opportunities exist to join Defence Intelligence Group (DIG) and contribute to supporting Australia’s national security and strategic objectives. We seek motivated people with passion, creativity, good judgment and adaptability to achieve our missions. We are looking for candidates with skills and experience in a wide range of disciplines including office administration, business and financial administration, human resources, strategic workforce management and planning and general administration. The ideal candidate will have high levels of administrative and organisational abilities and strong time management skills. Applicants will be required to demonstrate excellent liaison skills, combined with well-developed oral and written communication skills.

About our Team
As an administration officer in DIG, you will be employed broadly across the Group, with positions available in the Intelligence Agencies; Defence Intelligence Organisation and the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation, as well as within the Group’s Divisions; Intelligence Capability Development and Intelligence Policy and Priorities. Both Agencies and Divisions are comprised of highly-motivated Australian Public Service and Australian Defence Force staff who provide technical and subject matter expertise, on a range of intelligence related matters.  

Administration officers work broadly across the Group in a collaborative working environment that offers a diverse range of work, flexibility to be innovative, and the guidance and support to ensure that you always have everything required for success. You may be involved in a range of activities from delivering ongoing administrative functions through to support for projects, including strategy development and implementation.
