Your new role

The newly created Director, Strategy, Partnerships and Inclusion position within the Division of P&C is designed to build on strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the university to bolster capability, performance, engagement and facilitate the implementation of the division's strategic objectives. You will implement large-scale programs and strategies and will require close collaboration with other directors. The role will work with the HR Business Partners to engage with divisions, faculties and offices to ensure meaningful and sustainable changes are embedded in systems and processes to enhance the workplace experience.
This position reports to: Executive Director, P&C with three direct reports and a team of 10.

1. The HR Business Partnering team is fundamental in building relationships with key stakeholders. The Business Partners coach and support line managers to establish people management processes through the employee lifecycle and work with specialist people and culture areas to solve problems and implement initiatives to develop and support an engaged workforce.

2. The oversight, delivery and reporting of the 2030 People Enabler Strategy for the Division of HR, including the development of systems, processes and support of the one-, three- and 10-year deliverables.

3. The Equity and Diversity team champion a safe and connected community that delivers equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging for all at Charles Sturt.

What you'll need to succeed

We are seeking an experienced HR leader with a strong generalist background.

1. Leadership: Ability to provide strong management of staff and leadership of the division to drive cultural change and develop agile new ways of working.

2. Experience in HR strategy, projects and change - meeting milestones, deliverables, timeframes and budget.

3. Equity, Diversity and Inclusion: Desired experience in this area

4. HR Business Partnering experience: Essential requirement to have an ability to drive a culture of empowering leaders in people and culture practices.
