The Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to manage and embed the Employee Relations framework and policies across Australia and New Zealand to enable the future of work. Partnering closely with stakeholders of the business, providing specialist, trusted and compliant advice to leaders, this role will drive a consistent people experience and ensure the business can perform at their best in a workplace that is both safe and inclusive.

This role will focus on working collaboratively to coach and provide guidance on all employee relations matters. Plus lead the proactive implementation of employee relations initiatives that promote flexibility, an positive employee experience, diversity and inclusion, trust across the organisation, safety, ethical decision making and a culture of doing the right thing.


  • Ten or more years' experience as an employee relations practitioner
  • Proven ability to translate complex and technical employee relations issues into pragmatic solutions
  • Strategic mindset - able to anticipate employee relations issues and take an active approach resolving them
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and up-skilling leaders and HR practitioners in employee relations issues
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications - Degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Law,
  • Business or Health and Safety Knowledge of Australian ER framework and legislation
