Health and Safety Business Partner for Not for Profit organisation

Your new company

One of Australia's largest Not for Profit organisations is currently recruiting. This exciting opportunity sits within the National Head Office in the heart of the CBD, for an organisation that has operated for over a century focusing on bringing the Australian public their independence when necessary and assisting with social issues.

Your new role

As the new Health and Safety Business Partner you will be using your expert knowledge gained from extensive experience within the field. You will be a strong HSEQ professional who is committed to keeping your colleagues safe and provide top quality WHSEQ solutions for several matters such as; return to work, investigation support, safety audits, training needs, risk assessments and more. You will enjoy working in collaboration with peers from across the board when necessary but will primarily be focused on the Health and Safety aspects, supporting the needs of the business in this standalone role.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a strong HSE Advisor/Coordinator/Consultant with a wealth of experience in Australian WHS procedures and a focus on white collar or Not for Profit industries.
You will hold the following qualifications:

  • Diploma of WHS or a number of years in a Health and Safety role.
  • Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace Training - demonstrated experience in rolling out training programs.
  • Experience conducting Internal Audits against H&S management systems and standards.
  • Experience working across Australia, in a multi-site organization.
  • Demonstrated injury management, rehabilitation and return to work procedures and legislation.

You will also have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) as well as proficiency with Microsoft Suite. This is a permanent position - unrestricted full working rights in Australia is essential.
