The Role
Reporting to the Head of HR for NSW & ACT, this is a broad, end-to-end HR generalist role, working within a small, high performing regional team HR Business Partners and Advisors.
As the Senior HR Advisor for NSW and ACT, you will be coaching, supporting frontline and middle managers on all HR related matters. Your client group is made up of a large, unionized, blue and white collar workforce, located across multiple sites (approx. 2000 FTE).
About the Role
The Human Resources Administrator will need to have the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and provide support to multiple teams. You will also work with the HR Business Partners on the implementation of projects. The Human Resources Administrators main responsibilities will include:
  • Be the first point of contact for new starter induction and pre-employment issues;
  • Generate contracts, letters and termination paperwork;
  • Assist with regular HR reporting as required;
  • Ad hoc HR tasks as required by the team;
About Success
The successful Human Resources Administrator will have prior experience working in an  HR Administration role. You will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high quality service to your team. Other requirements include:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven ability to draft HR related documentation;
  • A confident communication style being able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels;
  • A can-do, positive and team-oriented attitude;
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise work according to business needs.
