Local Government HR Advisor Role Based in Melbourne's North

HR Advisor - Local Government

  • Immediate start.
  • Temporary role until the end of 2019.
  • Broadmeadows location.

Your new role
Reporting to the HR Manager this role will have a range of responsibilities.

  • Research and contribute to the development of human resources policies and procedures as appropriate.
  • Provide timely and accurate advice on a diverse range of employee relations issues.
  • Provide advice, assistance, support and training on and ensure adherence to and consistent implementation of relevant Council policies and procedures.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a HR Generalist role and have a track record of providing advice on ER/IR matters.

  • Successful completion of HR related degree and/or working towards postgraduate studies
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Previous experience in ER/IR and/or Generalist Human Resources.
