About the Role:

As the HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the senior management team and employee groups.
This position involves providing expert generalist HR guidance, assisting with employee relations and ensuring compliance with organisational policies. This is a Part Time position, starting on a 6 month temporary basis - however there is the ability for extension. Working hours / days are flexible but ideally this role will require 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all employee-related queries, providing timely action, escalation, or triage as appropriate.
  • Partner with the business to offer effective management support and advice on employee relations and operational issues.
  • Manage the end-to-end life cycle of assigned units and staff members, including recruitment, talent retention, and performance management.
  • Create, implement, and regularly update HR policies while fostering constructive working relationships and information exchange across the organisation.
  • Lead ongoing improvement initiatives to streamline employee support and achieve elevated stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Skills & Experience:

You must have..

  • Prior experience within HR Generalist (Ideally at an Advisory level) roles - with exposure to generalist roles and relevant employment legislation.
  • Experience working within a Blue Collar environment and some background in upholding OH&S practices is highly regarded.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and proven experience in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with managers and employees, offering effective listening and coaching skills to support staff development and performance.
