Hays is the preferred supplier choice of Not-For-Profit organisations as well as leading employers in Health, Technology, Insurance, Education and Utilities across Brisbane. We are currently working with a NFP based on the Sunshine Coast to recruit a HR Advisor - People and Performance.

Your new role
You will be undertaking a lead role across People and Performance where you'll provide accurate and timely HR advice and support to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies. A key component of this role will be working with the HR business area to create and implement a new performance framework for employees across the organisation, alongside re-writing and developing organisational policies and procedures.
Responsibilities may also include:
- Managing recruitment and onboarding processes while maintaining compliance.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to draft, review, and maintain accurate position descriptions, ensuring they meet legislative and award requirements.
- Delivering training on HR protocols and contributing to induction processes and training programs.
- Training the People and Performance Team.
- Offering support and advice, conducting workplace investigations, and performing performance reviews.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field, or 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of employment law and relevant awards, with experience in applying internal policies and procedures.
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment processes.
- A current open 'C' class driver's licence and a Working with Children Check.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
