About the opportunity.

Based in our Sydney CBD office this role will see you play an integral part in partnering with our Oils Commercial team which is one of the four business divisions of the Grains & Oils business. You will also partner with the corporate functions including; Finance; Strategy and Marketing, Risk, Assurance and Compliance, Legal, People and Transformation Office; IT and SHE. Reporting to the General Manager, HR you will drive the delivery of key HR projects and deliver commercially focused HR solutions while also working with business leaders to provide best practice advice.

About your experience.

This role requires outstanding influencing and relationship building skills. Experience of managing multiple stakeholders in a similar matrix environment. Other skills include;

  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources Management or other related professional discipline or equivalent experience
  • Commercial acumen an experience in a similar Corporate environment, having transformational change, OD, restructure experience
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in a HR Generalist role delivering on the key accountabilities
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of employment law & practice with the ability to participate in IR/ER activities as required by the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships at all levels with a proactive and solutions focused outlook and highly collaborative working style.
  • High level interpersonal and communications skills, including coaching skills, strong written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced-level PC skills, particularly in MS Office and experience with HR systems and data management
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated self-motivation together with a high level of initiative
  • Proven planning and time management skills and the ability to deal with and prioritise both strategic and day-to-day requirements
  • Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality and strong ethical values.
