One of Australia's most versatile engineering and technology companies is currently looking to hire a HR Business Partner in Sydney to support their growing business. Originally from the UK, this long standing business uses its significant resources and expertise to design, build and roll-out amazingly innovative engineering and technology projects for its clients all over the world. 
About the Role
As a true HR Business Partner, you will work autonomously with support of your broader HR team to provide advice and guidance on all related people matters for your business unit. In this role you are responsible for leadership coaching, helping to build organisation capability, driving special HR projects, supporting the business during exciting transformative periods and taking ownership of the entire HR life cycle for your client group.

  • Develop and implement specific innovative ways to optimise HR to better support the business

  • Work with your team to develop and support HR strategy demonstrating a passion for taking ownership and striving for success.
About You
  • Degree qualified in HR or related highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in management of ER matters
  • Project management approach to delivery of HR initiatives
  • Sound and balanced judgement – ability to make recommendations and evaluate alternatives with an attitude of commerciality and care for employees
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to navigate through complexity independently
  • Ability to prioritise objects in what is sometimes a fluid and changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilise insights to generate data driven decisions from business stakeholders
  • You are a self-starter, curious and able to work autonomously at times
  • A sense of humour
