HR Business Partner needed for global fast paced brand in Sydney. Permanent full time role. January start date

Your new company
Global organisation with 500+ employees based a very busy head office in Sydney, is seeking a hands on and operationally focused HR Business Partner, to join a newly established and growing HR team. Working with a blue and white collar workforce across across multiple sites and corporate teams, you will be a key HR Advisor, partnering with the managers and teams in all people and culture matters.

Your new role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will work alongside an additional HR Business Partner, and will be responsible supporting a client group based across a large Sydney site with a mix of both blue collar and white collar employees. You will coach managers and the wider workforce on a daily basis in a fast paced and ever changing business environment. Responsibilities will include: employee relations, coaching on performance management; workplace investigations; recruitment and talent management; legislation and award interpretation. In addition you will be responsible for talent management and onboarding and induction, remuneration & benefits reporting and analysis. You will also provide HR administrative support, creating contracts, managing HR systems and maintaining employee files. You may also get involved in supporting wider HR projects and exposure to new areas of HR for future development.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor ,who is experienced in working in a smaller HR team, ideally reporting to a Head of HR or HR Manager. You will ideally have worked in a fast paced customer focused business e.g. hospitality, Entertainment, or FMCG sector. You will be self sufficient but also enjoy working in a collaborative culture. You will be hands on and enjoy operational HR, working at the coalface of the business. As no two days will be the same, you must be able to manage own workload and be able to prioritise and push back as and when required. You will enjoy working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. You will be knowledgeable in ER and ideally have experience of EBAs and IR. In addition you must have excellent stakeholder management skills and have strong HR administration and systems skills. You will be happy to provide HR advice and coaching leaders, as well as take on the more administrative and hands on work.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of $100,000 - $120,000 base + super depending on experience and the opportunity to working across both a corporate and a site based environment for a world class brand. Parking provided with easy access to public transport in Sydney. Full time hours.
