This is a unique opportunity to join a progressive national Not for Profit organisation.  They provide a professional and crucial service that supports family and social cohesion.

This role will initially take responsibility for a NSW client group of around 400 - they will be a mix of frontline branch staff (all Greater Sydney) as well as head office corporate teams.  Support at a strategic level will come from the HR Director and transactional HR is predominantly the responsibility of the HR Coordinator. 

This is a relatively broad HR Generalist role dealing with all issues in the employee lifecycle. A lot of the works derives directly from the HRIS including  the onboarding and offboarding of staff. The role will also cover all operational HR work such as recruitment, employee relations and compensation. An emphasis will be placed on coaching managers through people situations rather than directly handing the matters although this will vary based on the line manager capability. Formal ER cases are actually relatively low at present but cases can be complex so strength and exposure to complex and sensitive case management is essential.

To secure this role you will be a generalist with 5+ years experience.  It is essential that you have some exposure to unionised and / or award based staff.  Sector background is not important but an interest in the Not for Profit sector and a desire to work for an organisation that has a positive impact on people's lives will be valued.
