Hays Recruitment Canberra are representing our client in recruiting for their new HR Business Partner / Senior Generalist to join their team. This not-for-profit organisation is looking for a proactive HR professional who can hit the ground running to simultaneously handle high volumes of compliance critical onboarding, remote end-to-end recruitment and IR/performance matters, including informal / formal meetings and investigations.

Your new role
Candidates will be experienced in the following:
- End to end recruitment processes.
- Identify opportunities and implement strategies to further improve attractions and retain employees with end-to-end recruitment.
- Advise and coach managers to create and sustain a high-performance workforce.
- Participate in low-level performance management, appraisal meetings, workplace investigation meetings to confidently discuss risk and approach to managing people-related matters.
- Project management and evaluation methodology to manage and contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of a range of best practice HR projects and programs.
- Keep records and write reports associated with case management and prepare case-based correspondence for the consideration and action of management.
- Prepare a range of strategic HR documents including reports, discussion papers, business cases, reviews and recommendation papers for both internal and external audiences.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of (5) years professional HR experience in a medium to large organisation.
- Partnership experience to provide advice and support on recruitment strategies, retention, Employer of Choice, industrial relations, career development, workforce planning and employment relations.
- Strong knowledge of IR case management including informal and formal meetings, stand-downs, investigations and terminations.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Be able to work full-time at an office location.
