HR Business Partner - Contract

HR BP immediately, initially for 3 months, with the potential to extend for a further 6 to 9 months.

Your new company
You will be working at a company physically based in Norwest Business Park, however due to current Covid-19 restrictions you will do a full remote onboarding arrangement. You will need to be able to go to the office when restrictions ease, there is flexibility on what this looks on the future.

Your new role
You will be responsible for partnering with business units and managers to ensure the workforce is engaged and productive.

  • You will influence and negotiate with their stakeholders to implement effective HR, WHS and Wellbeing policies and practices that support effective business performance.
  • Be responsible and accountable for taking practical steps to minimise the businesses exposure to risks as is reasonably practicable within your area of activity and responsibility.
  • Assist in the delivery of programs and activities as well as training of new team members.
  • Maintaining and reviewing standard operating procedures and processes, preparing reports, and other related HR duties specified by the supervisor/manager to relieve other staff as required.
  • Coach managers on the implementation of performance and talent management processes.
  • Conduct internal investigation/manage external investigations.
  • Consult with managers and provide daily HR guidance to relevant business units.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or similar, ideally at degree level;
  • Manage the end to end recruitment process;
  • Provide accurate, timely and consistent advice and strategies for employee relations matters;
  • Strong knowledge of NSW State Award & other relevant legislation;
  • Highly developed communication and relationship building skills;
