Extended parental leave contract for a strategic HR business partner.

This is a strategic HR Business Partner role where you will have the autonomy to consult and contribute towards the short and long term objectives of your portfolio.

Reporting to the GM, Human Resources, you will add value through proactive HR initiatives, supporting ongoing HR projects which will enhance workforce engagement and retention, performance, productivity and ongoing success.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the implementation and execution of the HR strategic plan
  • Managing change projects and ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness of processes and procedures
  • Consulting with management to identify added value initiatives
  • Coach and develop line management regarding all generalist human resource functions including employee and industrial relations
  • Identify and mitigate risk
  • Provision of qualitative and quantitative data and HR reports
  • Identify and implement capability and talent management projects including remuneration and reward, and performance management
  • Support the tender and bid process

This position is an opportunity for you to utilise all of your business partnering skills from influencing best practice and change, consulting, coaching and developing, and utilising your commercial acumen to ensure success for the present and the future.

It is essential that you have held an HR Business Partnering role within a larger organisation and can demonstrate your ability to identify opportunities, design and develop pragmatic initiatives and forecast recommendations to support the overarching HR strategic plan. You will have recent working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.

The role will be offered on the basis of a 14-month fixed-term contract and will require either an immediate or short notice start.
