HR Director required to join growing business in Sydney. Must be fluent in Mandarin.

Your new company
Working for a new established and rapidly growing global business which specialising in brand and marketing with a global footprint and future expansion into APAC. Mandarin Speaker required.

Your new role
Reporting to the CEO, this is a leadership role, supporting a workforce of 250+ employees across Australia and Asia. You will be responsible for the design and deliver of their global HR strategies, incorporating a number of entities and brands under one group and culture. You will play a pivotal part in the integration of culture and processes post an M&A, and build bridges between countries and languages. You will lead a small team based in multiple locations and be part of the senior leadership team.

As this is a relatively new business to Australia, there will be a large amount of coaching of leaders and employees through change, educating all levels of employees and management, and building their capabilities in people practices, employee legislation and employee engagement. What you'll need to succeed
You must be a fluent Mandarin Speaker. You will be an experienced HR Director, or Head of HR who has worked in both an ANZ and an APAC environment. To be considered for this role you must have exposure and experience of working in Asia e.g. China, Hong Kong or Singapore as well as Australia. Mandarin speaker is required, and a passion for multi cultural business environments is critical. You will be hands on, commercial, business focused and have experience of the setting up and implementation of company wide HR strategies in line with business growth and future plans. You will ideally come from an industry which is service or customer focused e.g. Retail, Media, Marketing, Hospitality, Travel.

What you'll get in return
This is a career role and would suit someone who has lead an HR function previously and looking to develop further. There will be further organic growth and acquisitions in the future n to other countries with potential for this position to become more global. Salary on offer is $160,000 - $200,000 base + super + bonus. Central Sydney location
