Townsville Catholic Education (TCE) fulfils its mission of providing quality educational services through a system of 29 schools across the largest urban centre north of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. With over 2,500 employees, the proud reputation Catholic schools enjoy within the Townsville Diocese today is based on the strong tradition built by the religious orders who, in 1872, founded Catholic Education in the Diocese.

At the core of our focus, our students are encouraged to embrace Catholic values and faith as they prepare to become future contributing members of the community. As we launch our newly reshaped HR function, we seek an energetic and engaging HR practitioner to build on our successes by leading a contemporary recruitment and talent service across TCE.

  • leading, motivating and developing a small team
  • consulting with the TCE Executive and senior leaders to understand the demand for implementing workplace change, recruitment, selection and succession
  • identifying workforce trends and risks as these relate to various school contexts, localities and demographics and propose strategies to minimise risk and support strategies and initiatives
  • coordinating, leading, and continuously improving the TCE recruitment campaigns (including Graduates) as part of the broader workforce strategy

Your depth of experience in building practical organisational capability through development and management of strategic methodologies, frameworks and HR processes is a must.
