An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client who provides critical services to the community. They have recently been recognised in an industry awards celebration taking home 3 awards for the delivery of quality services.

The HR team is growing and an opportunity to undertake meaningful work has arisen for a HR Generalist! Reporting to the Human Resources & Corporate Services Manager, this role provides the opportunity to grow and utilise your HR experience, whilst making a strong contribution to the overall success of the business. You will be joining a high-performing, supportive team while being a part of a warm and friendly workplace culture!

About the role:

  • Providing advice, guidance and support on HR-related matters across the business
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and supporting the implementation and delivery of systems and processes across the organisation
  • Supporting end-to-end talent acquisition, on-boarding and off-boarding in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
  • Supporting the review and development of HR policies, processes, procedures and framework
  • Performance management - providing coaching and guidance to leaders on performance related matters and supporting the performance review cycle
  • Supporting WH&S compliance including preventative risk management, WorkCover claim management and RTW.
  • Administrative functions including preparing and maintaining accurate and professionally presented employment documentation, position descriptions, quality and secure record management
  • Contribute to Learning & Development, project delivery and organisational change for this growing business

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience in HR, enabling you to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy - from written documents (e.g. employment documentation) and strong record keeping, through to processes and planning
  • An interest in and aptitude for industrial relations and employment law
  • Solid time management and organisational skills
  • Strong business writing, research and stakeholder consultation skills
  • The desire to actively contribute to a collaborative, high-performing and inclusive team culture
  • A degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field
