About the role:

We have a full time opportunity for a HR Generalist to join the People Team at Ai-Media.  In this role, you will provide quality HR advice, coaching and support to leaders and employees of the Ai-Media Australian region. Reporting to the Sr. People Business Partner – Americas, EMEA, you will also work with the wider People Team on strategies, projects and implementation of different processes and procedures. 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with business leaders to implement People Team strategies and projects
  • Provide People support and guidance to leaders and employees including but not limited to guidance on performance, employee relations concerns, team structure, employment changes
  • Ensure compliance across HR policy and process by staying up to date with any changes to the employment law
  • Full cycle recruitment process including posting, sourcing, interviews and offers
  • Strong focus on attraction and retention of top talent through diverse recruitment practices and internal development
  • Involvement in engagement initiatives within region and the globe
  • Ensuring staff information is kept up to date in HRIS and in employee files
  • Tracking People Team metrics and data such as time to fill, turnover rates and reasons for departures

Our Expectations:

We are looking for someone with…

  • Post-secondary degree or certification in Human Resource Management
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a Human Resource Generalist position or equivalent
  • Strong experience and familiarity with handling employee relations, supporting leaders through change management, performance management and company departures
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Legislation Australia with proven ability to advise the business on decisions that align with this law
  • Positive outlook with a service-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability of providing support across all Human Resource core functions, to a variety of different teams and seniority levels

Location:

This position is based in our APAC region and we encourage applicants from Sydney or Melbourne.
