This is an opportunity to join a prestigious and well regarded organisation in a broad role that has an unusual blend of support with autonomy .  The well-resourced HR team has very low turnover and includes specialist teams and a sizeable generalist support aligned to specific client groups.

Reporting into the Head of HR, this autonomous role oversees a small team of capable generalists, providing a bespoke support to a client group which has a high profile and will certainly offer an intellectual challenge.  The organisation is going through multiple changes, for example their administrative systems and processes are being overhauled.   There are also COVID related changes which will result in reductions to the workforce.  These programs will be supported by the specialist workforce relations team.

The role is varied with broad generalist responsibilities which are BAU and Project orientated including -

  • Restructuring
  • Organisational Change
  • Employee Relations
  • Organisational Development
To secure this role you will be an experienced HR Generalist with several years at Manager level and team management experience.  Ideally you will have operated successfully in a complex organisation supported by a sophisticated HR team.  This role will support an academic group and exposure to a similar client group would be ideal. 

This role is a 12 month FTC.
