HR Manager | 6 Month Assignment | WFH - office in Botany after lockdown (car essential) | Immediate Start

Your new company
You will be the HR Manager (with one direct report) for a well known manufacturing company based in the Botany area. You will be working from home primarily with the expectation to be in the office a few days per week once lock-down restrictions are lifted.

Your new role

  • Prepare employment related correspondence including Letters of offer, Job change, transfer, promotion, salary & grading advice, labour contracts, terminations and contract renewals.
  • Take a pro-active interest in safety matters and create workplace culture that supports it.
  • Work with SHECQ dept. and assist with administration and recording OH & S and workers compensation matter
  • Lead Succession Planning in consultation with Managing Director and relevant section leaders
  • Take charge of overall Training provision in conjunction with appraisals and individual's development plan to keep the high level of performance at an organizational level. E.g. Leadership training, Opx and Safety trainings and work on developing hard skills and soft skills.
  • Improve workplace environment and create positive, happy, safety culture.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have tertiary HR qualifications or similar
  • You will have at least 4 years experience in a similar HR role.
  • You will have the ability to understand and consider laws and regulations that are applicable in the specific functional area to ensure that the company complies with them.
  • The ability to utilize and promote HR technology and administration tools (files, data, payroll and reporting) to provide information / solutions to customers and support the strategic decisions of the business.
