About the role

This Melbourne based HR function is highly regarded within this organisation. 
Reporting directly into the National Head of HR Operations, you will play a key leadership role within a vibrant and energetic P&D community.  Partnering and mentoring will be essential to ensure your valued stakeholders and team have the greatest opportunity to thrive.  You will also be part of a broader national and global P&D community.
With people and capability high on the strategic agenda, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to be involved in positive change initiatives and providing superior HR support for your key stakeholder groups based in Sydney and Melbourne.
Your key priorities
In your role as HR Manager, you will lead a small team, mentor others within the HR community and work closely with the supportive and well-resourced People & Development team, both here in Australia and through global initiatives with your peers internationally.
  • This role will also enable you to play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of HR policies and programs, and coach your business through change and culture initiatives
  • You bring positive energy and influence the culture of the teams you work with. You are dedicated to doing leading work in HR, including understanding emerging issues and collaborating to achieve a great culture
About you

You have a strong background in HR business partnering within a highly professional and complex environment.  You have proven ability to manage relationships and influence senior business leaders and naturally align HR initiatives with business strategy.
You are accustomed to supporting managers in talent management, performance management and reviews, coaching and development and any IR/ ER issues.  You are an authentic leader and bring sound judgement and consideration to the issues you manage..
