Your new company
Highly successful SME in Sydney and Sydney's inner suburbs with a well known local brand associated with great food, retail and customer experience and a focus on health and wellbeing. Sydney based start up role.

Your new role
Reporting to the MD, you will take on a stand alone HR Generalist role to create, embed and deliver HR processes and policies. With some excellent pillars already in place and an HRIS there so so much to build on. Your key areas will be: recruitment and onboarding, talent management; training, leadership development; career path mapping, retention, engagement, WHS and management; ER and any workplace issues and employment legislation expert; performance management, performance appraisals, payroll and HR query management as well as HR coordination and administration.

In addition as the business grows over the next few years you will advise and support the leadership team in this growth through its people, and implement and create new growth strategies and people programs.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced HR Generalist/People & Culture Manager, HR Manager who has worked in smaller business cultures and environments. You will be a strategic thinker, operationally focused and enjoy working closely with the whole business at the coal face. You will be hands on and be able to alternate from operations to strategy easily and adapt your style depending on the stakeholder. You will ideally have experience of working in a Retail, Wholesale, Customer focused business environment and be able to work with white collar and blue collar employees.

Salary is flexible for the right person but aligned to the market around 100 - 120K base + super. Full time hours or can offer potential flexible part time hours for the right person. Sydney based and will be a mix of WFH and office based once life is back to normal so ideal for someone who does enjoy working in the business as well as remotely.
