Well known construction company seeking HR Officer/Coordinator for a permanent opportunity.

Your new company
This high-profile Construction Company is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to support and contribute to the success of the company by providing human resource administration and support.

Your new role
As an integral member of the growing HR team, you will be required to provide support in the following areas:

  • Award interpretation and advice
  • Development of policies
  • Training and development
  • Payroll support
  • Understanding of superannuation and payroll legalities
  • Workplace Health and Safety
  • Dealing with internal stakeholders and managing any queries and issues management
  • HR reporting
  • HR related matters that may arise

In this role you will have the chance to use your strong stakeholder engagement skills, highly-developed organisation skills and strategic oversight to develop and promote a healthy and safe working environment. No task will be too big or too small for you, you will enjoy working across a broad range of functions and responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed
A diverse generalist role, you will use your strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and solid understanding of best practice HR to help deliver a range of HR services to a key internal client base. Your understanding and passion for payroll, HR and award legislation will see you succeed in this role. Being organised and exceptional time management skills will be a key strength.

You will have the ability to move between tasks swiftly and reactively. Your attention to detail and well-developed interpersonal skills will be paramount to your success within the role. An ability to work effectively under pressure will be invaluable. You will be part of a supportive, hardworking team that works together to get the job done.
