HR Officer (stand-alone) | $75k - $85k + Super | Revesby + Parking | Full-time or Part-time

Your new company

Our client is a leading Australian-owned manufacturing company who have been well-established for over 50 years. They have a current workforce of 60 employees nationally, and growth plans to expand.

They currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to join the team, in a newly created role.

They are open to this being a full-time or part-time position.


Your new role

You will be responsible for supporting the organisation's HR functions, serving as a trusted advisor and providing expert guidance on a wide range of HR matters such as employee relations, policy development, recruitment, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with managers and employees to ensure a positive work environment and the effective implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

Working closely with our CEO your duties will include:

  • Duties/Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee recruitment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns, grievances, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve workplace conflicts, disciplinary issues, and other employee relations matters.
  • Provide advice and support to managers on employee performance issues, including coaching, counselling, and disciplinary action.
  • Assist with the implementation of KPI's and effective Job descriptions.
  • Ensure HR Policies are effectively communicated to employees and managers.
  • Monitor compliance and recommend and implement legislative changes & updates.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree or tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field or working towards this
  • 2-3 years experience within a similar HR position
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and build collaborative relations with all staff
  • Have a forward-thinking attitude, take ownership of processes and bring fresh ideas
  • Be able to work in a fast-pace, sales-driven environment
