Your new company

This assignment is with a community focused not -for-profit service provider in Townsville. They cover Regional Queensland and provide a range of services to the community.

With a growth in the sector accompanying demand for increased services, there is now an opportunity for a HR professional to join the team and provide support to help the organisation achieve their goals.

Your new role

You'll be supporting a busy team and an experienced HR Manager with a surge of work and internal growth.
You'll be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the HR inbox and responding to any queries and escalating where necessary.
  • Provide support with recruitment, learning and development and other HR initiatives.
  • Responsible for onboarding and supporting employee lifecycle activities.
  • Producing HR reports and collation of data for reports from Excel and internal databases.
  • Liaise with stakeholders internal and external to the business on HR matters and escalate when needed.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience working as part of a busy HR team is essential. Exposure working in organisations with operational and corporate staff is key, whether that is government, NFP, or blue collar industries. Your skills will include recruitment, strong Excel and the ability to interpret and implement HR policies, with support from the wider team.

For this role it is required that you have a valid Yellow Card and a clear police check (or ability to obtain) and full working rights.
