HR Manager - Operations | Temp 3 months minimum, potential to extend | Hybrid WFH/Ryde | Hands on and Admin

Your new company
A well established small business spanning Australia and New Zealand, they have many facets to their business including tech, engineering, media and events.

Your new role

  • The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and organisational HR support to the Executive team, operations managers and both casual and permanent staff.
  • Monitor internal HR systems and databases, contracts, employee lifecycle processes, policies and procedures.
  • Managing HR Generalist matters (in a standalone role) such as performance reviews, inductions, employment contracts, onboarding, performance management, recruitment and more.
  • Ensuring contracts for all casual workers are correct, updated and sufficient for their roles.
  • Ensuring casual workers are onboarded and inducted well, understanding and ensuring employer and WHS laws and regulations are met.
  • This is a hands on operational role, with a focus on organised admin, recruitment, protecting the business and protecting staff.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary education in Human Resources, Employment law, Event management, Operations or other relevant area.
  • Experience in a standalone HR function, carrying out recruitment, performance reviews, inductions, training.
  • The ability to prioritise is essential, this business has lots of moving parts, events/launches/tech changing all the time. Need a steady state of mind and energy to prioritise.

What you'll get in return

  • A Minimum 3 month contract with potential for extension (or to be made permanent)
  • Competitive hourly rate of up to $75 + super per hour (can be flexible for right person)
  • Flexible with full or part time hours, and a hybrid working arrangement (from home and office in Ryde)
