Lead the development of HR Strategy for an Australian Federal Government Agency in this non-management role

Your new company

Your new role

You will lead projects to deliver priorities outlined in the organisations People Strategy. Focusing on the development of the workforce plan, you will partner with various business areas to understand their needs and challenges.

You will gather information to provide recommendations and develop, implement and evaluate strategies around talent management and succession planning. As a leader, you will develop and support employees across the team, as well as provide regular feedback on performance.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience in leading the development of HR strategy is essential. Ideally your experience will be in the area of Australian Public Sector (APS) workforce planning, talent management or performance optimisation.

A demonstrated ability to analyse complex information to provide advice and guidance is necessary. You will have highly-developed stakeholder engagement and project management skills to provide innovative and effective HR solutions.

It is also essential that you can collaborate, consult and communicate with a wide range of employees, to ensure strategies and initiatives address current and future business needs and challenges.

Experience working within the Australian Federal Government [APS] is highly desirable. Section 26 transfers possible.
