Our family oriented and Australian owned client created this new permanent HR System Lead position, located in the South East of Melbourne. In this job, you are responsible for the end to end system integration and optimalisation. As HR System Lead you are passionate about HR and you love improving HR processes with the right systems. Whether it is the ones that are in place or look at new systems.

You will be reporting to the HR Manager, who has been with the company for 6 years. He worked at global companies before and is extremely passionate about HR and describes his management style as easy going. Your new team consists of 3 HR Business Partners. They have been with the company for multiple years and all 3 have been promoted during there time there.

Key responsibilities of the HR System Lead

  • Review current HR and Payroll systems, with the view of end to end integration;
  • Definition of data input and process in order to capture relevant information for the end users;
  • Identify, create and enhance reporting to provide insights to aid our business to make data driven decisions and provide insights;
  • Ensure high quality data input by clearly defining and communicating the process to key stakeholders;
  • Lead key systems, process improvement and reporting/analytical projects;

What we are looking for as a minimum is previous experience as an HR Generalist. This will help you in improving the current processes. With that you bring experience in the HR system space. You have implemented an HRIS, ATS or Payroll system before or worked on improving the current processes. You are tech savvy and diving into the different systems and getting the processes right or implementing a new system is what gives you energy.

This role is not for someone that only worked in the system implementation area. We are really looking for someone with that HR generalist background as well as the tech mindset and experience to improve the HR system processes.
