Specialising within the mining and resources sectors, this organisation offers both provision of equipment, engineering and maintenance services.

Reporting to the HR Manager, this position will support both the recruitment and human resources functions, including:

  • Placement of advertisements for all corporate and site based roles both blue and white collar
  • Pre-screening and interviewing
  • Provision of due diligence including tickets and licences, medicals and VEVO checks
  • Coordination of the visa process
  • Coordination of the offer process
  • Raising employment contracts
  • Coordination of PPE and supporting the onboarding process
  • Coordination and facilitation of the induction process
  • Ensuring completion of probation documentation
  • Supporting employee queries
  • Ad hoc projects, including support of systems implementation

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are seeking a balance of both recruitment and human resources with plenty of room for future development. We are seeking an individual that has previous proven experience of managing the end to end recruitment process within a blue and white collar environment, who wishes to further pursue human resources for the future. Working with a small team, a 'can do' attitude and the ability to pursue excellence in service is essential. Ideally, you will be creative in your thinking and offer opinion on continuous improvement whilst maintaining exceptional performance within your daily tasks. You will be a collaborative team member who excels in an environment where everybody rolls their sleeves up to achieve the key objectives.

A qualification in Human Resources or a related specialism would be preferred but is not essential. Prior exposure to the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards is required coupled with the ability to follow process in a methodical and timely fashion.

This position will offer longer-term career development, discretionary working from home, flexible working hours 40 per week and the opportunity to work within a team that is values driven, friendly, empowering and corporate.
