An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator to join a local organisation based in Darwin.

Your new company
Our client, a health organisation, whose focus is to support, promote and provide health services across the Northern Territory is actively sourcing an experienced Human Resource Coordinator to be an integral member of the People and Capability team on a 12 month fixed term basis

Your new role
Reporting to and supporting the Senior Human Resource Advisor, this generalist position will see you supporting the People and Capability team in key operational roles including working with the talent management team with recruitment coordination, engagement activities and compliance of working staff, management of the coordination of on-boarding and training requirements, supporting the team in preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, leading the management and responses of the departments in-box, document management and ad hoc HR projects as delegated.

This role will also see you supporting the WHS component of the organisation by coordinating quarterly meetings, reporting and following up on action items.

This role is based in Darwin, NT and will also require you to travel to remote communities by car or light aircraft.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced HR Coordinator or Officer ideally within a Not for Profit or Health organisation with introductory understanding of Fair Work Australia and legislation. You will be a highly organised and hardworking candidate who with does not mind pitching in and helping the team when required. You will be outcome driven and be able to keep to tight deadlines and time frames. You will be comfortable with remote travel and have strong communication skills. A tertiary or post graduate qualification in Human Resources is preferred however, not essential.
