About the Role

Working closely with the Manager, People & Culture this role will support the ongoing development and implementation of key HR initiatives including, but not limited to:

  • Reviewing and implementing HR policies, procedures, frameworks, training and templates,
  • Embedding the Child Safe Standards across the organisation,
  • Devising and delivering HR related training
  • Devising a framework for our volunteer workforce.

In addition to the exciting projects you will work on, you will also support the People and Culture team in management of work as required, including:

  • Supporting with complex HR/IR matters,
  • Provide accurate and timely advice on HR activities, processes and policies, and
  • Support the implementation of L&OD development initiatives.

About you

  • To succeed in this position, you will have extensive knowledge and experience in managing a broad range of HR issues with the proven ability to manage change in a complex, and often challenging work environment.
  • You will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who wants to contribute to the success of our growing organisation.
  • You will have passion and drive for business improvement with outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills. Your ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders will allow you to excel in this fast paced, yet rewarding role.
  • Sound knowledge of and experience in government sector industrial and administrative processes would be advantageous but is not essential
