This is an opportunity to work in a progressive organisation with a large and sophisticated HR model.  The organisation not only offer the opportunity to work in an evolved HR function but they are also early adopters of flexible working patterns. 

The internal client group are predominantly intelligent customer facing staff, who require a consultative approach.   The general workflow will lean towards the lower volume / high complexity or sensitive side but there will be day to day, BAU work, although there is an experienced HR Officer within the team whose primary focus is on that level of work.  The role will also work on multiple projects including significant business change which will include redundancy programs.


This role is part of a client aligned HR generalist function in a decentralised team structure. There is a strong link with the HR specialist teams, which allows for a consistent and collaborative approach across the whole HR function. 

The main BAU accountabilities in this role are:
  • Providing advice and support to managers and staff on HR policy, procedures and processes.
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives aimed at improving HR service within and across client groups.
  • Help create a diverse and safe environment through EEO and WHS regulations
  • Coach internal clients through all people related processes
The organisation are looking for candidates with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to support manager with differing levels of HR competence. Solid experience in a HR Generalist position is required.  The role is client-facing, so the ability to genuinely consult with stakeholders and offer practical and pragmatic advice is essential.  

This role is a 12 month FTC.
