Your new company
Our client is a national leader in the facilities industry, focusing on providing solutions to a variety of sectors. The organisation has a strong and growing presence across Australia, with the head office based near the Melbourne CBD. Due to a recent vacancy, they require a Human Resources Manager on a permanent basis to lead the Human Resources function.

Your new role
Reporting to the CEO, the HR Manager is responsible for guiding and managing the overall provision of Human Resources Services, Policies and Programs. You will design, drive and deliver on operational initiatives across the business. This is a generalist role as you will lead employee lifecycle activities, complex employee relations and some industrial relations, workforce planning, talent acquisition, remuneration and benefits, training and general policy development. You will lead a small team of HR professionals who will help with general HR administration and safety/return to work programs. Your role will also have strategic objectives as you work closely with the Executive leadership team as a key member of the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be an experienced Human Resources professional with at least 5-10 years' in a similar role. You will have an excellent understanding of workplace legislation, industrial/employee relations and the general employee lifecycle. You will be a strong and determined professional who gets buy-in from key stakeholders across the organisation. Due to the nature of the operation, past experience in a blue-collar industry is preferred. You must have excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to empower your team and develop their skills.
