Permanent HR Manager role in a professional Not for Profit organisation

Your new company
Based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, this Membership Organisation is going through a period of transformation. Joining a highly skilled, supportive and mature team, you will work with a hands on and dedicated Head of HR. Joining a large HR team, you will have a varied role and work with a diverse stakeholder group in a professional organisation.

Your new role
This role will lead on HR operational excellence, with three direct reports, you will lead the HR operations day to day, Responsible for the following:

  • Day to day HR, answering queries, supporting your reports
  • Employee Relations matters
  • Change Management
  • Implementing legislative updates
  • HR Project work across EBAs, OHS, Systems upgrades
  • Supporting Talent Acquisition

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a proven HR professional, a true HR generalist with extensive experience across all HR processes. You are someone who can be innovative and look for ways to change and improve a process. Experience working in depth across employee relations is essential, with a strong ability to pick up on errors and red flags. If you have worked across payroll and OHS this would be desirable. You must have experience with leadership, both from a direct reports perspective and from leading projects, strategy and HR.

What you'll get in return
With an office based in the inner East of Melbourne, you will work from home and the office when restrictions allow. This is a permanent full time (5 day per week) role, further down the line there may be the opportunity to go part time. Salary from $155,000 + super. This organisation is going through huge change and offers a real opportunity for you to develop and bring your HR excellence to this team.
