Learning and Development Designer - Contract

This varied Learning and Development Designer role is a critical position working within the Program Leaning and Development team for a number of transformation projects. These projects are focused on professional development and soft skills. Some of the projects are:

  • Performance Management / Coaching for Performance
  • Leadership Capabilities
  • People Attributes (Values)
  • Employee Induction
  • Culture and Engagement
  • Risk and Compliance Education and Capability

Key responsibilities

  • Work across multiple projects in the Program at any one time
  • Partner with project team members and the business
  • Working very closely with Change Managers, Organisational Development Specialists, business SMEs and Business Owner in each project
  • Consult extensively to gather requirements and assess suitability of potential learning solutions
  • Provide expert L&D advice for the design of blended learning solutions and use modern learning design techniques
  • Develop all learning assets required for the project
  • Contribute to the development of templates for all learning materials governance across the Program
  • Manage the review and sign off process for learning materials within each project

Your experience

  • Minimum 5 years instructional design experience
  • Previous experience developing learning solutions across multiple projects under a Program
  • Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility and preparedness to work in a dynamic environment
  • Previous experience developing learning solutions for professional development and soft skills areas
  • Contemporary knowledge of learning methods and technology
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Previous exposure to a heavily regulated customer focussed industry
