L&D role in Melbourne CBD, permanent opportunity in a well-established Victorian Government Organisation.

Your new company
An excellent opportunity exists to work with a well-known Government organisation in the Melbourne CBD. This respected and growing body is recruiting a suitably experienced learning and development professional to join their small team. A diverse, multicultural and large government body that truly impacts the community and lives across Victoria.

Your new role
Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will review the current learning and development training within the Protective Security space and create new materials where appropriate. You will work closely with your manager to coach new and existing colleagues around the implications of security - be that IT, data or physical security. You will educate the wider business on security and coach dedicated champions throughout the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience working in an L&D position ideally within the State Government. You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys working closely with others. You will be someone that can deliver a message to a diverse range of employees and be flexible in your approach. You will be able to take advice and feedback and implement this in to improving training. You will be engaging, organised and able to manager your work load effectively.

What you'll get in return
You will work on an interesting and important training course that will impact Victorians. You will be offered a full time permanent position at the VPS4 level. You will be allowed flexible working hours and be based predominately in Melbourne's CBD; some travel is required to deliver training.
