Learning System Analyst - 12 mth Contract

Our community-driven client within the aged care sector has a newly created 12 month Fixed Term role as a Learning System Analyst located in the Melbourne CBD, however starting from home. In this new job, you can use your passion by championing the new LMS system.

You will be part of the implementation of the new Totara based Learning Management System and take ownership of the system. You will combine knowledge of online learning and practices with technical knowledge of learning management systems to ensure a continually improving and well-supported delivery of online learning.

Reporting to the HR System Lead, you will get an amazing manager. He has a broad knowledge of HR systems and has been an HR generalist himself. There is a broader HR, Recruitment and Learning & Development team and therefore opportunity for growth.

Key responsibilities of the Learning System Analyst

  • Engage with key stakeholders and the system vendor to analyse and document specific requirements for the new LMS.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to identify new learning content and programs to be created.
  • Develop test scripts and perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure system functionality and performance meets agreed specifications.
  • Contribute to L&D program development by providing guidance on opportunities to leverage LMS capabilities that enhance the delivery and management of online and blended learning initiatives.
  • Continually seek ways of improving the online learning delivery

What we are looking for as a minimum is previous experience as an LMS/HR Analyst. It would be amazing if you have been in a Learning and Development role as well, so you have a broad understanding of the playing field of this role. You love diving into the different systems and continuously improving them is what excites you. If you have worked with a Totara based system before, that would be a big plus, but absolutely not a must. As long as you have worked with an LMS system and ideally been part of an implementation.
